MIDSOMER MURDERS is British detective show that has aired since 1997. Known for both its eccentric characters and picturesque English countryside setting, it's one of my all time favorite murder mystery series. I capture screenshots of the exteriors and interiors and include commentary on each episode.
Filmed in Bledlow, Buckinghamshire; Brighton, East Sussex; Cambridge, Cambridgeshire; Little Missenden, Buckinghamshire (as Iris Rainbird's house); The Lee, Buckinghamshire, S1E1, "The Killings at Badger's Drift," is set in Badger's Drift.
We begin with shots of Barnaby's first two-level home. With its warm red brick and white accents, surrounded by trees, it's a warm and serene house. We move onto the lush and posh exteriors throughout the episode and end on the interior sets. Enjoy your stroll!
