Death and Dust, S10E5

Once we get passed the unnecessary, albeit slightly humorous, bedroom scene within the opening, S10E5's "Death and Dust" is yet another classy, unforgettable episode! It's got a lot of mystery and a little murder. Probably THE MOST gorgeous scenery of the series as it is filmed in North Wales. You can almost feel the brisk crisp of Autumn in the air, Tom rakes leaves while the Barnaby women wish for a new backyard patio. Tom's having none of it in typical Dad style, but then serious contender Simon gets into his future father-in-law's good graces by getting his hands to work on the project. Speaking of getting your hands dirty, we see that detective work isn't all fancy suits and elegant entrances. Jones and Barnaby have to dish out justice knee and elbow deep into mud and rubbish. And if that wasn't enough, they've got to chase and catch the criminals by air and by edge of cliff in one of the most epic Got 'Em scenes we've had the pleasure to witness. The characters had depth, very well-acted, notably David Yelland, William Thomas, and Stephanie Cole. And here we meet WPC Gail Stephens, who remains in the regular cast until season 13. Do not miss this one! Scroll and stroll, and find more on Instagram!
