The Animal Within, S10E2

S10E2, The Animal Within, was another unique episode! As an American woman myself, I'm sure it's fine to say that an American has no place being in Midsomer! As was the case in this episode--and who let not one, but two Americans in?! And that flat American accent, please, no! Well, I'm only kidding, of course, about the unwelcomeness, though they did make for an odd atmosphere in this episode. Yet, it also made for a very good mystery indeed! Somewhat similar to the last episode: the story unveils itself in flashback and echoes of the past, there's a missing person, there's a treasure trove of risque photos floating around, and a creepy-pervy dude. There's plenty of sunshine, luscious greenery, roaring waters, and a glimpse of Joyce! Several lovely and eyebrow raising interiors (re: the statues and photographs in the house: scroll down this post for those um...artistic...bodies of...evidence). Exteriors not too shabby either. The murders are not terribly graphic, but in fact, being murders, are not so pleasant. Watch it, but not with grandma, of course! Stroll and scroll to see it all including the extra bits, and find more on Instagram : @Omae.Zing
