Ring Out Your Dead. S5E2

Not one of the best episodes, in my opinion. The characters are unappealing, underdeveloped, and all unsympathetic really. The reason for the murders was demented beyond the norm, almost unbelievable. Joyce is involved with the plot and there are a few short scenes at the Barnaby home.

The interiors and exteriors were lovely, seems like I've seen this same church and that unique home with the heavy roof in other episodes of the series...
Lovely church tower and clock
Cute storefront that

Stately brick house innit ?

Ah, to ride a bike in such a charming village!

Look at the detail and size to both the windows and large church door.

Even the public transportation has history and a nice green color to match all the greenery, oi!

Unique roof on this home, seen a lot in Midsomer Murders

You can almost feel the cool crisp air of the overcast day as Barnaby stands outside the church.

I actually imagined myself a Catholic nun after admiring this shot.

This is one of a few creepy ones in this episode. I wonder why churches including these? The stonework is lovely though.

Barnaby with a cup of tea no less. Wouldn't you enjoy one in this nice spot?

Barnaby and Joyce at home.

Such a cute home, love the large windows leading out to the yard...

Lots of detailed woodwork inside the church...

Cozy home, such low ceilings!

Beautiful room

Nice detailing on wood

Notice the large pillar and pretty stained glassed windows.

The only capture I took of the bell ringers, the window was nice, but the rest was drab and creepy...

Interior of a modest home

More church interiors

The ending credits very different this time! Got one shot of an actual bell which was not easy to get throughout the episode.

The End!
