Death of a Stranger, S3E1.

Filmed in Cuddington and The Lee in Buckinghamshire, Thame Park (hunting scenes), Thame in Oxfordshire, and Twyford Railway Station, Twyford in Berkshire, S3E1, "Death of a Stranger," takes place in Upper Marshwood. Scroll and stroll all the way down to read my commentary. Enjoy!

Commentary:

This was a rather intriguing episode in my opinion. First off, the Barnaby family are vacationing in France together. Then Barnaby helps Cully rehearse her acting lines like a good father should, ha! The murder plot itself is engaging, with well-developed characters with both repulsive and redeeming qualities. Plenty of red herrings to add depth (and confusion!). When the killer and his motives are revealed it is surprising yet understandable in a twisted sense of devotion to love and marriage. Cully takes the stage towards the end.
